“We celebrate the role and strength of Filipino storytelling over the last 500 years. Storytelling as a tradition, not only preserves, enriches, and enhances the Philippine language and culture; they also help us push for a more powerful Philippine identity in the creative economies in the context of global markets,” emphasizes NBDB Executive Director Charisse Aquino-Tugade.
